SUMMARY:Everybody by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins
DESCRIPTION:Everybody by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins\nDirected by Terra Vandergaw\nSharp Theater\, April 1\, 2\, 3\, 7\, 8\, 9 at 8pm \n\n\n\n\nEverybody\, by Obie and MacArthur award-winning playwright Branden Jacobs Jenkins\, is an irreverent\, surprising\, and whimsical re-telling of the 15th century morality play\, Everyman. As in the original\, the character Everybody is happily going about their life\, minding their own business\, when suddenly Death comes calling. In a flash\, Everybody must confront their own mortality and life’s big questions. Can they get just a little more time? Will Death allow them to bring a companion on their final journey? Did they live a good life? Underscoring the universality as well as the randomness inherent in the human condition\, the actors playing Everybody\, Friendship\, Kinship\, Cousin\, and Stuff will have their roles determined by lottery each evening in front of the audience. No two performances will be the same! Come face your fears along with Everybody and the rest of the cast in this comedic\, thought provoking\, and immersive theatrical experiment. \nClick Here to Purchase Tickets

SUMMARY:Miwa Matreyek "Indefinitely Yours" and "This World Made Itself"
DESCRIPTION:Miwa Matreyek\nIndefinitely Yours and This World Made Itself \nMiwa Matreyek is an animator\, director\, designer\, and performer who creates live\, staged performances where she interacts with her animations as a shadow silhouette. Her work exists in a dreamlike visual space that makes invisible worlds visible\, often weaving surreal and poetic narratives of conflict between man and nature. Her work exists both at the realm of the hand-made and tech. \nInfinitely Yours depicts an all too familiar world drowning in the by-product of material abundance. This World Made Itself is a visually and musically rich journey through the history of the earth\, from the universe’s epic beginnings to the complex world of humanity. \nTickets: $8 RCNJ Students w/ID (limit 1)\, $20 RCNJ Faculty and Staff w/ID (limit 2)\, Public $25/32/35\,\nChildren under 17 $18 \nRCNJ Students\, Faculty and Staff must come to the Box Office with ID to purchase tickets. \nClick Here to Purchase Tickets!
