Ramapo College welcomes students who have a college degree who wish to attend as a Non-Degree student whose goal(s) is further study to obtain teacher certification from the New Jersey Department of Education. If you wish to study as a non-degree student in an area other than Teacher Education area select the button above.
In order to begin studying at Ramapo College as a Post Baccalaureate (Teacher Education) non-degree student you need to:
- Complete the Student Information Form for Non-Degree Seeking Students (PDF)
- Pay a $25 application fee
- Submit official copies of all college transcripts verifying your degree status to the Teacher Education Program (a 2.75 GPA on your most recent degree transcript is required)
- Provide proof of NJ residency which is a copy of a Valid NJ Drivers License (over 1 year) or a copy of a Valid NJ Voter Registration Card (over 1 year)
- Provide a copy of a negative Mantoux (TB) test
- Complete the Praxis I Reading, Writing and Math tests with a minimum score of 170 in all three sections. (Go to www.ETS.org for information about Praxis I)
