Uma Joshi

Uma Joshi ’16 graduated with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and minors in Accounting and International Business. Uma was a Peer Advisor and Orientation Program Coordinator in the Center for Student Success (Formerly known as the Center for Academic Advisement and First-Year Experience or CAAFYE). She was a participant in the NASPA Undergraduate Fellowship Program and was recognized in the Who’s Who of Students In American Universities & Colleges. “Becoming involved has proven to be an important aspect of my college career. Not only have I made many connections, I have also been given opportunities to explore multiple career paths. As a first generation college student, my peers and mentors at Ramapo have helped me pursue a career path that allows me to affect positive change in the community.” Uma offers the following advice for her fellow Roadrunners, “Do not be afraid to get involved and get out of your comfort zone. The best opportunities come from taking that first step.”
