| Office of Residence Life Staff |
Linda Diaz, Director of Residence Life.
Ms. Diaz is a graduate of Stony Brook University and Hofstra University. She has worked in residence life positions at The College of New Jersey, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Hofstra University and Indiana State University. Ms. Diaz is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the residence halls and the overall Residence Life program. She reports to the Dean of Students.
Stephanie Barlow, Associate Director of Residence Life.
Mrs. Barlow holds a Bachelor’s degree from William Paterson University and a Master’s degree from Montclair State University. She is responsible for coordinating housing operations, assignments and meal plans.
Lisa Gonsisko, Assistant Director of Residence Life.
Ms. Gonsisko earned a Bachelor’s degree from Wilkes University and a Master’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is responsible for all aspects of Summer Conferences and serves as the Technology Liaison for the Office of Residence Life.

Shekeitha Jeffries, Assistant for Housing Operations
Ms. Jeffries holds a Bachelor’s degree in English as well as a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is responsible for assisting the Associate Director of Residence Life in all aspects of assignments and billing.
Joana Dos Santos, Program Assistant/Office Manager
Mrs. Dos Santos is obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science at Ramapo College. She is responsible for assisting the Director of Residence Life in all aspects of administrative duties. Joana is also the Office Manager for the main office and manages the Residence Life Mail room.

Residence Directors (RD) and Area Directors (AD) have graduated with both their Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree. Residence Directors are live-in staff who directly supervise the student staff and maintain the daily operations of the traditional style residence hall they are responsible for. Area Directors are also live-in staff and directly supervise Graduate Residence Directors (GRD) while maintaining the daily operations of an apartment style complex.

| Graduate Residence Directors |
Graduate Residence Directors have graduated with their Bachelor’s degree and are pursuing their Master’s degree. They are live-in staff who directly supervise the student staff and maintain the daily operations of the residence areas.

Resident Assistants and Community Assistants are typically upper-class students who have been hired based on their skills and interests to serve the resident community. They are trained to help their peers handle roommate conflicts, lead floor/building activities; plan educational, social and cultural programs, help residents stay within the guidelines of acceptable behavior, and perform a variety of administrative tasks.
A Resident Assistant’s primary goal is to establish a one-to-one relationship with each resident living in his or her area. While Community Assistants are responsible for developing a strong community atmosphere in the campus apartment facilities.
Resident Assistants and Community Assistants are valuable resources for all residents who need referrals throughout the campus. A Resident Assistant/Community Assistant is the first person to talk to whenever you have questions and concerns.
Additional student staff that work in the Office of Residence Life include the following: Desk Attendants, Mail Clerks, and Office Assistants.
