Housing at Ramapo College offers students convenient, modern amenities. Below are just a few of the attractions of Ramapo’s residences.

Housing options are available to meet a variety of accessibility needs. Accessible housing arrangements are made through the Office of Specialized Services.
*The college provides connections for voice, video, and data. The college does not provide equipment for Internet and cable connections, except in computer labs and other common areas. Residents must bring their own computer hardware and television sets to utilize the video, and data connections in their residences.

A four story building, with elevator access, houses approximately 240 students in 4-person suites. Two bedrooms adjoined by a bathroom that includes a shower stall and toilet. Single sinks are located outside the bathroom in each bedroom.

The Overlook (Completed Fall 2004)

An eight story building, with elevator access, houses 295 students and contains four person suites comprised of two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sitting room.
Common rooms are furnished with a couch, chair, end table, coffee table, and TV cart. Bedrooms have bed, mattress, wardrobe unit with shelf, and drawer storage, desk, desk chair, and over-desk storage for each resident.
Large floor lounges; Main open lounge with game area and large screen TV/DVD (1st Floor), study rooms, with adjacent dining/meeting rooms; Summer storage for international students' belongings; Boardwalk bridge to Scott Student Center area; Hall office (1st Floor).
There are two access points to Overlook, One on the 1st floor and one on the 3rd floor.

College Park Apartments (Completed Phase I - 1973; Phase II - 1976)
The apartment complex consists of fifteen buildings adjacent to The Overlook and Kameron Pond.

Apartments house approximately 560 students in two - or three-story buildings with two bedrooms, bath, and kitchen/living room. There are some duplexes.
Furnishings include:
Living room: couch, two chairs, end table, coffee table,
Bedroom: bed, mattress, desk, desk chair and wardrobe
Kitchen: full size refrigerator/freezer, dining table with four chairs, cabinet space. Phase I buildings have microwave-convention ovens with stove tops and Phase II buildings have ovens with stove tops.
The common area for the College Park Apartments area is located in the Lodge. This is where the hall office is located (cpa@ramapo.edu or (201) 684-7061). In this area there is also a lounge area with a flat screen TV, kitchen area, pool table and air hockey available to our residents. We also have a fitness center located in the Lodge, which is also available for our residents. The fitness center hours will be advertised to residents within the first few weeks of the semester. We also have a basketball court in front of the Lodge for residents to use.
The laundry room for the College Park Apartment's residents is located directly across from the Mimosa building and in front of the Lodge. This is a separate building from the apartments and we encourage residents to bring carts in order to make doing laundry easier for them.

Laurel Hall is a 432-bed suite-style residence that contains four single bedrooms, a bathroom with stall shower and a small common area.
The community space has a kitchenette-type unit with a sink, microwave and full-size refrigerator along with some storage space for food items; a small table with four chairs, a couch, club chair, coffee table, and TV cart.
Each bedroom has a tool-less long twin bed (can be raised to captain's height), mattress, a three-drawer chest, a desk with moveable pedestal drawer unit (can be used as a night table) and task chair on casters, overhead bookcase storage unit (seven feet wide), tack board, and wardrobe with two doors (half hanging clothes and half shelves), desk and desk char.

Ramapo Reservation
The 2,145 acre Ramapo Reservation is minutes from Ramapo College. The county park boasts more than 200 species of birds and cool, shaded hillsides with flowering
dogwood, mountain laurel, and pink azalea.
Visitors will find hiking trails, mountain fishing,canoeing, rafting, and scenic vistas like Scarlet Bischoff Hall Pond, the Ramapo River, and the MacMillan Reservoir. There are even two waterfalls, Bear Swamp and Buttercup.

J. Lee’s

Location: Scott Student Center Annex, SC-224

J.Lee's is a student activities lounge on the second floor of the Scott Student Center
Annex. It is equipped with wide screen televisions, audio video equipment and comfortable
furniture. Services include a variety of magazines, free popcorn and bottled water, board
games, pool, ping pong, and air hockey. Clubs and organizations are encouraged to
sponsor events in J.Lee's. Information about scheduling J.Lee's for a program can be obtained
from the J.Lee's attendant.
Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts
The Kresge and Pascal Art Galleries
The Sharp Theater - a 350-seat proscenium theater engineered without obstructions to visibility or sound.
The Myron and Elaine Adler Theater - a blackbox theater which can seat up to 100.
