Laurel Hall is a 432 bed suite-style residence that contains four single bedrooms, a bathroom with stall shower and a small community space. |
The community space has a kitchenette-type unit with a sink, microwave and full-size refrigerator along with some storage space for food items; a small table with four chairs, a couch, club chair coffee table, end table and TV cart.
Each bedroom has a tool-less long twin bed (can be raised to captain's height), a three-drawer chest, a desk with moveable pedestal drawer unit (can be used as a night table) and task chair on casters, overhead bookcase storage unit (seven feet wide), tack board, and wardrobe with two doors (half hanging clothes and half shelves).
Laurel Hall also has the following amenities: large first floor lounge with widescreen televisions (full kitchen adjacent); laundry room; mailroom, trash collection room, hall office, open gaming space with table games, vending machines; lounge opposite laundry with television; apartments for College Administrator and Residence Director; 50 seat theater-style room with movie seating; three meeting rooms; a computer lab and computer teaching classroom (the meeting rooms, lab and classroom are in the north wing).

Adjacent to Laurel Hall is a recreation area with two basketball courts, a sand volleyball court and a handball wall. There is some picnic-style seating. The courtyard is nicely landscaped as well as the “quad” that is between Laurel and the main academic building.
Three quarters of the parking deck is reserved for Laurel residents (may be opened to others at slow times like breaks, weekends, summer, etc.). From past experience, we believe this will satisfy the demand for parking by Laurel residents. Overflow parking, if needed, will be in the main lots. Access to the deck is off the Loop Road.

Housing options are available to meet a variety of accessibility needs. Accessible housing arrangements are made through the Office of Specialized Services.
*The college provides connections for voice, video, and data. The college does not provide equipment for Internet and cable connections, except in computer labs and other common areas. Residents must bring their own computer hardware and television sets to utilize the video, and data connections in their residences.
