Since its founding in 1969, Ramapo College of New Jersey has had a commitment to sustainability. As the world around us has come to realize the importance of renewable energy, pollution control and elimination and “green practices”, we have renewed our commitment to sustainability.
With the groundbreaking of Ramapo College's new Sustainability Education Center, the recent approval of our Strategic Plan establishing sustainability as a fundamental principle, and the signing of the Presidents Climate Commitment, Ramapo continues to dedicate itself to creating a more sustainable campus.
