Ramapo Reservation County Park
Mahwah, NJ

The 2,145 acre Ramapo Reservation is minutes from Ramapo College. The county park boasts more than 200 species of birds and cool, shaded hillsides with flowering dogwood, mountain laurel, and pink azalea.

Visitors will find hiking trails, mountain fishing,canoeing, rafting, and scenic vistas like Scarlet Oak Pond, the Ramapo River, and the MacMillan Reservoir. There are even two waterfalls, Bear Swamp and Buttercup.
