The 2008 Distinguished Citizen Honorees 

The following individuals will be recognized for their personal and professional commitment to advance higher education, and for their significant service to the community.

James E. Jaworski is a partner in the law firm of Wells, Jaworski, Liebman, LLP in Paramus, New Jersey.  Jim heads up the firm's Real Estate department, specializing in land use and development issues.  He is a graduate of New York Law School and Ramapo College, class of 1981.  Jim lives in Ramsey with his wife Michele and son Michael.

Drew Nieporent owns the Myriad Restaurant Group, which operates Tribeca Grill, Nobu, Centrico, Mai House and Rubicon (San Francisco) among others. He graduated from the Cornell University School of Hotel Management.  His son Andrew is a sophomore at Ramapo.  Drew lives in Ridgewood with his wife Ann and daughter Gabrielle.

Patricia B. Shrader is Senior Vice President of Corporate Regulatory and External Affairs for BD in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.  Pat has overall responsibility for BD regulatory and government relations activities worldwide as well as BD's Social Investing program.
Pat lives in Baltimore, MD and Ringwood, NJ with her husband Drew.

Edward P. Wallace, Jr is the Vice President for Community Affairs and Sony USA Foundation.  He manages corporate contributions and volunteer actitivities for Sony. Ed resides in Murrieta, California with his wife Nancy, sons EJ and Kevan.  His daughter Kelly is a 2006 graduate of Ramapo College.

The 26th Annual Distinguished Citizens Dinner will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the Rockleigh Country Club.  Reception and auction viewing begins at 6:30 pm
