Congressman Robert E. Andrews presented "Our Nations’ Fiscal Policy: Strengthening the United States’ Global Economic Standing."	Musicians and dancers were part of College’s Chinese New Year celebration.	Dr. Alex Olbrecht (center) led a Ramapo team to the semi-finals of the Federal Reserve Bank Challenge designed to increase knowledge about the Federal Reserve Bank.
Mack Brandon and the New Jersey Conference Choir will perform at the Berrie Center on March 4, 8 p.m.	Sarakasi African Acrobats performed at the Berrie Center.	Dr. Peter Mercer, center, president of Ramapo College with the Fanale family who are sponsoring a scholarship in memory of their mother, a Ramapo alumna.

Dr. Kenneth V. Hardy, visiting Schomburg Scholar, gave several presentations on strategies for healing strained relationships.	Author, poet and activist Kevin Powell discussed “The State of Black America” at a closing reception for African Ancestry Month.	President Peter Mercer hosted a reception for faculty and staff who supported the work of the Diversity Action Committee.
Novelist, essayist and poet Marge Piercy presented “Dreaming in Female: Reshaping our Past and Shaping our Future” to kick-off Women’s Herstory Month.	Dr. Leonard Grob of Fairleigh Dickinson University discussed the work of emmanuel Levinas.	Ramapo students enjoy a reception for Women’s Herstory Month.

The Commerce Bank Summer Concert Series continues on Thursday, July 13 with The Demensions performing at the Bandshell.	Dr. Beth Barnett has been appointed provost of Ramapo College of New Jersey.	The new Laurel Hall student residence is scheduled to open in fall 2006.

David Bromberg and the Angel Band will perform at Ramapo College's Berrie Center on Saturday, September 16 at 8 p.m.	"Promise to La Difunta," a film by Ramapo professor Renata Gangemi will be screened during the Berrie Center’s Recess program on Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 1 p.m.	Les Yeux Noir, or "The Black Eyes," a gypsy klezmer music group will perform at Ramapo College's Berrie Center on Saturday, October 7 at 8 p.m.
Eric Schlosser, author of Fast Food Nation:  The Dark Side of the All-American Meal, will be the guest speaker at Ramapo College’s Opening Convocation Friday, September 8 at 1 p.m.	Palpable Painting, a group exhibition featuring paintings by faculty at area colleges and other institutions, will open in the Kresge and Pascal Galleries on Wednesday, September 13.	Lost & Found, a film by Ramapo professor Bonnie Blake will be screened on Wednesday, October 11 at 1 p.m. in the Sharp Theater as part of the Recess program.

Ramapo College’s first Freshman Family Day was a success, providing students and families with activities, refreshments and enjoyment of campus life. Former professional football player Esera Tuaolo was the opening speaker for LGBTIQ History Month at Ramapo College.
Senator Loretta Weinberg observes nursing students at Ramapo College during a recent visit.	The Ramapo College Cahill Center sponsored Native-American Navajos performing traditional dances.	The Ramapo community demonstrated their support of Lee National Denim Day that supports the fight against breast cancer.

Chef Joaquin Suarez prepares authentic Colombian cuisine as part of a weeklong international program sponsored by Sodexho, the college’s dining service.	Judge Andrew P. Napolitano was the featured speaker at the Sebastian J. Raciti Memorial Lecture and Dinner.
Richard and Milicent Anisfield, who donated $2.5 million last April to help support the project, sign a steel beam used to complete the new Anisfield School of Business building during the “topping off” ceremony held October 24.	Comedian Greg Wallock discussed his film and life in an event sponsored by the Office of Specialized Services.	An American Flag, an evergreen tree and a banner hoisted to the top of the new Anisfield School of Business building completes the traditional “topping off” ceremony held October 24.

Internationally acclaimed human rights activist Enrique Morones spoke at Ramapo College’s Latino Heritage Month opening event.	Ramapo College Spanish language professor Paula Straile-Costa described the history of Dia de los Muerto in honor of the traditional Mexican celebration.	Construction continues on the new Ansifield School of Business academic wing scheduled for completion next year.
Members of the Thunderbird American-Indian Dance group performed at a Ramapo College Student Activities event.	President Mercer hosted a reception to honor faculty and staff Service Award recipients.	On Black Solidarity Day the Black Student Union led students of color in a silent march, known as the Slave Cemetery March, to the Hopper's Slave Cemetery located across from the college.
Officers from the Mahwah Police Department explained police procedures and addressed concerns at a forum held at Ramapo College.	Trustee Timothy Schroeder, President Peter Mercer and Elaine Winshell, professor emeritus of biology celebrate Founders’ Day.	A panel of current and former homeless people discussed their lives and offered solutions to help alleviate homelessness.
Volunteers in the College’s Community Service Center help sort food destined for over 1,500 Thanksgiving food baskets for low income residents of Bergen County.
