Ramapo College Theater Student Productions Presents
"The Government Inspector"
(MAHWAH, NJ) - The Ramapo College of New Jersey Theater program, comprised of students from the School of Contemporary Arts, will be performing Nikolai Gogol’s "The Government Inspector" this month.
Under the direction of Greg Steinbruner, "The Government Inspector" tells the story of a corrupted small town, where rumors of a secret government inspector keeping surveillance persist, leaving town officials desperate to cover their tracks and save face with whomever they suspect to be the inspector. "The Government Inspector" will transport you to a comic universe not so different from our own, complete with a scandal-ridden governor, ponzi schemes, predatory loans and other delights of social disorder.

"The Government Inspector" will run on Oct. 16, 17, 21, 22, 23 and 24 at 8 p.m., Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. Shows will be presented in the Adler Theater at the Berrie Center for the Performing and Visual Arts, at Ramapo College of New Jersey.
