MAHWAH - High school juniors and seniors are invited to apply for enrollment in a new online credit-bearing course at Ramapo College of New Jersey on African American history.

The course, "African-American History I," focuses on the history of African-Americans from pre-colonial Africa to the institution of slavery in the West.  Students will survey and analyze the historical and cultural connection between Africans in the Diaspora and review the impact of colonialism, slavery, segregation and individual and institutional racism.
