Ramapo College Presents an Evening of Acoustic
American Music Featuring David Bromberg and Angel Band

(Mahwah) – The Ramapo Mountain Stage Series presents “An Evening of Acoustic American Music:  David Bromberg and Angel Band” Saturday, January 26 at 8 p.m. in the Sharp Theater on the campus of Ramapo College of New Jersey.

A performer, writer and arranger, Bromberg has earned vast critical and popular acclaim.  Angel Band, his brainchild, that joins some of the best area musicians who gather on a regular basis to jam at a small café in Wilmington, Delaware, will open for Bromberg.

This show creates an eclectic musical journey through several uniquely American music forms, featuring the early works of Stephen Foster, the Texas swing of Bob Wills, Cajun fiddle tunes, Delta and Chicago blues, bluegrass, and folk, among others.

Tickets are $32, $28 and $24 for adults and $15 for children under 17.  Senior citizens will receive a five percent discount off regular prices.  For more information call 201.684.7844.

This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
