Distinguished Citizens Award Dinner to Benefit Ramapo
College Students, Capital Projects and Faculty

(Mahwah) - The Ramapo College Foundation’s 2008 Distinguished Citizens
Award Dinner, to be held Saturday, March 8 at the Rockleigh Country Club, will honor four distinguished citizens for their personal and professional commitment to advance higher education, and for their significant service to the community; James E. Jaworski, a Ramsey resident and 1981 Ramapo College graduate, who is a partner in the law firm of Wells, Jaworski, Liebman, LLP in Paramus; Drew Nieporent, a resident of Ridgewood whose son, Andrew, attends Ramapo College, and who owns the Myriad Restaurant Group headquartered New York City; Patricia B. Shrader, a resident of Ringwood and the senior vice president of Corporate Regulatory and External Affairs for BD in Franklin Lakes; and Edward P. Wallace, Jr., vice president for Community Affairs and Sony USA Foundation, whose daughter, Kelly, is a 2006 graduate of Ramapo College.
The Bud Maltin Orchestra, whose repertoire includes rock, disco, swing, Motown, Latin, reggae, standards and R&B, will provide entertainment.
The annual benefit dinner, now in its twenty-sixth year, raises funds for student scholarships, college capital projects and faculty research. The evening will
