The Jupiter String Quartet Will Perform at Ramapo College

Photo: The Jupiter String Quartet Will Perform at Ramapo College(Mahwah) - The York Room Salon Series presents the Jupiter String Quartet Sunday, December 3 at 3 p.m. at Ramapo College of New Jersey.  The quartet features Nelson Lee and Meg Freivogel on violin, Liz Freivogel on viola and Daniel McDonough on cello.  Their program will include works by Beethoven, Bartok and Brahms.

If a string quartet could be described as “hot,” then the Jupiter String Quartet would quality, having taken First Prize in both the Banff International String Quartet Competition and the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition.  This young group has performed at Lincoln Center and has toured throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. 

Tickets for the Jupiter String Quartet are $15 and include refreshments.  The York Room is located in the Birch Mansion on the campus of Ramapo College of New Jersey.  For more information call (201) 684 - 7844.
