A Stellar Selection of Performances to be Presented by The Ramapo College Foundation’s
Cit Performing Arts Series

(Mahwah) - The CIT Performing Arts Dinner Series allows subscribers to enjoy a showcase of musical, comedy and dance performances, an intimate dinner reception prior to each and dessert with the artist during intermission or following the show.

Featured are:  songstress Maureen McGovern, whose career includes recordings, concerts, Broadway, films, television and radio, on October 21; Christmas From Dublin starring the Three Irish Tenors presenting songs of the season on December 17; The Capitol Steps, who will regale audiences with their singing, dancing, parodies and skits satirizing Washington politics on February 11, 2007; The Kid From Brooklyn, an intimate portrayal of Danny Kaye’s life on April 28; and Sachal Vasandani, who delivers a satisfying selection of blues, standards and modern jazz, on May 19.

Hosted by the Ramapo College Foundation, and entering its seventh year, the specially packaged series is a way for philanthropic patrons to experience outstanding entertainment while supporting College scholarships.  The Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts on the College campus is the venue for this stellar selection of performances.  CIT sponsors the series.

There are two levels of support for the CIT Performing Arts Dinner Series.  Benefactors contribute $1,200, which includes dinner and performance seats for two people to each of the five performances.  Patrons may reserve seats for dinners and performances for $500/person for five series events, $400/person for four and $300/person for three performances.

All performances are in the Sharp Theater in the Berrie Center.  Proceeds from the CIT Performing Arts Dinner Series support student scholarships, faculty research and capital projects at the College.  To subscribe or for more information about the series, contact Liz Kloak at (201) 684 - 6834.
