Italian Pianist Rossano Sportiello to Perform at Ramapo College of New Jersey

(Mahwah) – The York Room Salon Series presents “From Stride to Be-bop:  Jazz Piano from Fats Waller to Barry Harris” featuring Rossano Sportiello on Sunday, October 23 at 3 p.m. in the York Room in the Birch Mansion on the campus of Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Italian pianist Rossano Sportiello has performed all over the world, playing the music of the great jazz pianists and composers, with a passion that reflects his love of the genre.  Sportiello’s performance at Ramapo College is his only east coast appearance.

Tickets for “From Stride to Be-Bop:  Jazz Piano from Fats Waller to Barry Harris” are $12; refreshments will be served.  The York Room is located in the Birch Mansion on the campus of Ramapo College of New Jersey.  For more information call 201.684.7844.
