A Stellar Selection of Performances Presented By The Ramapo College Foundation Performing Arts Series
(Mahwah) -- The CIT Performing Arts Dinner Series, a specially packaged series of performances and dinner receptions, hosted by the Ramapo College Foundation, is a way for philanthropic patrons to experience outstanding entertainment while supporting College scholarships. The Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts on the College campus is the venue for this stellar selection of performances. CIT sponsors the series.
Entering its sixth year, the 2005-06 series allows subscribers to enjoy a showcase of musical, comedy and dance performances, an intimate dinner reception prior to each and dessert with the artist during intermission or following the show. Featured are: acclaimed jazz vocalist/pianist Loston Harris on October 1; Irish fiddler Eileen Ivers in a special holiday performance on December 17; “Aires de Tango,” a vibrant Argentinean tango program presented by New Generation Tango on February 4; The Magic of David Caserta, featuring magical comedy and audience participation on April 1; and the zany comedy of Second City on May 13.
Benefactors contribute $1,200, which includes dinner and performance seats for two people to each of the five performances. Patrons may reserve seats for dinners and performances for $500/person for five series events, $400/person for four and $300/person for three performances.
All performances are in the Sharp Theater in the Berrie Center. Proceeds from the CIT Performing Arts Dinner Series support student scholarships, faculty research and capital projects at the College. To subscribe or for more information about the series, contact Kathleen Austin at 201.684.6834.
