Sculptures By Mahwah Resident and Ramapo College Professor Judith Peck on Exhibit at Manasquan Gallery
(Mahwah) Sculptures in bronze by Judith Peck, a Mahwah resident and professor of art at Ramapo College of New Jersey are featured in Brilliant Harmonies, an exhibit at the Tycoon Art Gallery, a new space in Manasquan, New Jersey. Pecks work will be on display through September 5.
Pecks sculptures are in approximately 80 public and private collections, including the American Art Collection of the Yale University Gallery, the Ghetto Fighters Museum in Israel, and public, cultural and religious institutions in New York, New Jersey, Florida, Maryland and Israel. Her work has been exhibited at the International Biennial of Art in Malta, the National Academy Galleries in New York, the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy, the Detroit Institute, the New Jersey State Museum and, in addition to Yale, at numerous universities including Columbia, Fordham, Adelphi, Montclair and Rutgers.
Her Ladies of Steel larger-than-life size sculptures were recently displayed at Dag Hammerskjold Plaza in New York. She has three large works currently on view in the Art Park at Clifton City Hall, New Jersey.
Hours for Tycoon Art Gallery are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. Pecks sculptures will be on exhibit 5 to 10 p.m. those days. The gallery is located in Suite 6 at the South Street Plaza. For more information, call 732-223-1885.
