College Presents A Special Holiday Concert Featuring Judy Collins
(Mahwah) – Ramapo
College of New Jersey is pleased to present a special holiday concert
featuring the legendary Judy Collins on Sunday, December 19 at 4
and 7 p.m. in the Sharp Theater. The 4 p.m. performance was
added following overwhelming demand. Tickets are available
for this performance only.
Judy
Collins is the definition of a living legend. With more than
40 years as a performing artist, her vocal
interpretations have inspired millions, and
her recordings have earned her multiple Grammy nominations, gold
and platinum albums and top ten hits.
The
songstress will share songs of the season
as well as her greatest hits in this special appearance. She will take the audience
on a magical ride through her personal memories
of holidays past and present.
The
Ramapo Chorale and special alumni guests,
under the direction of Barbara Gordon,
an assistant professor of vocal music performance
at the College, will join Collins for renditions of several holiday
favorites.
Tickets for
Judy Collins’ performance at Ramapo College are
$48, $42 and $36. There will be no senior citizen or student
discount; prices reflect seat category only. The Sharp Theater
is located at the Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing
and Visual Arts on the Ramapo College campus. For more information
