and Financial Outlook Roundtable To Discuss
How State and Federal Policies Affect
Jobs and Economic Growth
(Mahwah) - “How Will State and Federal Policies Affect Jobs,
Profits and Economic Growth?” will be the topic for a panel
of financial experts participating in the 2005 Business and Financial
Outlook Roundtable on Tuesday, December 7 from 6:30 – 8:30
p.m. in the Sharp Theater on the campus of
Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Among the topics
to be discussed are how President Bush’s
tax and budget policies will affect New Jersey’s economy in
2005, whether the falling dollar is a threat
to living standards and what policies will
be pursued by Acting Governor Codey.
The panelists will include Dwight Carey, managing member, American
Productivity Group, LLC; the Honorable Jon S. Corzine, United States
Senator (invited); Stephen Daffron, managing director, Citigroup
Private Bank; Richard Goldberg, president, Commerce and Industry
Association of New Jersey; John Murphy, former CNBC technical analyst
and commentator, www.stockcharts.com,
and George Taber, president, NJBIZ.
The evening
will be sponsored by the College’s Center for
Business and Public Policy and Ramapo College Business Network. Dr.
Murray Sabrin, executive director of the Center and a professor of
finance at Ramapo College, will moderate the roundtable. The
roundtable is offered without charge as a community service by the
Ramapo College Foundation and the School of Administration and Business. A
reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed

Business and Public Policy at Ramapo College provides a nonpartisan
