Business Honor Society Inducts New Members

(Mahwah) - The Delta Mu Delta National Business Honor Society hosted its annual induction dinner on March 30 in the Pavilion on the campus of Ramapo College of New Jersey.

This year, 68 undergraduate and five graduate students were inducted. Also inducted were Thomas Palmer, a member and past chairman of the Ramapo College Foundation and president of DAF Products, Inc. and Dr. William Sanborn Pfeiffer, Ramapo College Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs. Both are residents of Mahwah.

Recognized as Outstanding Teacher of the Year was Constance Crawford, M.B.A. and C.P.A., an associate professor of accounting at the College who lives in Eastchester, New York. She is also co-director of the campus's chapter of the society. Ethel T. Pelletiere, a Ramapo senior who lives in Oradell, was named Outstanding Student of the Year.

Delta Mu Delta is a national honor society that promotes and recognizes outstanding business student achievement. Ramapo College students are eligible for induction through its Delta Nu Chapter. Delta Mu Delta membership is the highest national recognition a business student can earn. Students who are inducted become lifetime members.

Students who are inducted into Delta Mu Delta receive lifelong recognition for outstanding academic achievement and have ongoing access to networking with other members.
