(Mahwah) – Robert K. Burke, vice president and director of comprehensive wealth management for Nuveen Investments/Rittenhouse Financial Services, will speak Monday, September 9 in the Trustees Pavilion at Ramapo College of New Jersey. “Comprehensive Wealth Management” will be his topic. A reception is scheduled at 5 p.m.; the presentation will begin at 5:45 p.m. This program is one in a series presented by the Ramapo College Business Network. Business Network presentations are free and the public is welcome.

Prior to joining Nuveen in 1996, Burke was the managing director of Kemper Unit Investment Trusts and EVEREN Unit Investment Trusts. He served in a variety of management and professional roles in the sales and marketing divisions of INVEST Financial, A.G. Edwards & Company and Morgan Stanley. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and did graduate work in England at Oxford.

“The financial management needs of today’s affluent clients have become complex,” says Burke, “to the point that successful financial advisors have to be able to offer clients expertise across a broad range of financial planning options, and should possess the ability to provide a comprehensive perspective in the creation of appropriate solutions.”

In his presentation, he will offer insights on wealth management, estate planning strategies, retirement planning and distribution, business succession planning, concentrated stock management alternatives, philanthropy and family wealth education.

The Ramapo College Foundation and The Mahoney Team of Merrill Lynch sponsor this event without charge as a community service. For more information on Burke’s presentation or on the Ramapo College Business Network, please call Dr. Ron Kase, (201) 684-7287.
