(Mahwah) The Infernos will bring the sounds of today from big band to Motown, from steamy hot jazz to J-Lo to the Band Shell at Ramapo College of New Jersey in the Commerce Bank Summer Concert Series, Thursday, July 25 at 8 p.m.
The groups leader, keyboard player, producer and arranger Bobby Wells, will be joined by Kenny Simmons, formerly of The Commodores. Solo vocalist Vince Torell will provide the sounds of Sinatra. Gotta Get This Groove On, The Infernos new dance single, was written by Simmons.
The final concert in the Commerce Bank series is a performance by Zydeco A-Go-Go, scheduled Thursday, August 1. In addition to Commerce Bank, the series is sponsored by the Friends of Ramapo, the Ramapo College Alumni Association and McBride Agency, Realtors. Bring your lawn chair, a carload of family and friends, and picnic under the stars.
