Who:	Dr. Bashir Zikria, clinical professor of surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, chair of the Afghan National Islamic Council, and an advisor to Afghanistan’s former ruler, King Zaher Parwin Zikria, a lecturer on Afghanistan at the United Nations Heritage Society
What:	“Understanding Afghanistan: History, Culture and the Phenomenon of Extremism”
Where:	Ramapo College of New Jersey Friends Hall (SC-219)
When:	Wednesday, November 28 at 7 p.m.

There will be an opportunity for members of the press to meet with Dr. and Mrs. Zikria informally at 6 p.m. in SC-217.
