Volunteers Needed At Ramapo Colleges Berrie
Center For Performing And Visual Arts
(Mahwah) Volunteer ushers, greeters and art gallery monitors are needed at New Jersey's newest arts destination, the Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts. The Berrie Center will begin its second season of concerts, exhibits, theater productions and festivals on September 15. The fall line-up includes folk singer Richard Shindell, the T.S. Monk Sextet, comedy by Chicago City Limits, the Ahn Trio ("chamber music meets MTV"), classical pianist Seymour Lipkin and the Asian Moon Festival.
In addition to training, volunteers will receive one pair of tickets per college semester to a show of their choice. Receptions for prospective volunteers are scheduled Friday, September 8 at 2 p.m. and Monday, September 11 at 7 p.m. Call (201) 684-7888 for more information.
