(Mahwah) -- Dust off those lawn chairs and get out the blankets, it's that time of year again when Ramapo College begins its annual free Thursday evening outdoor concert series of fine family entertainment (June 24, July 8, 15, 22). All concerts are held on the Bandshell Lawn (campus entrance) and begin promptly at 8 p.m. There is a $5.00 (per car) parking fee. Vendors selling food and merchandise will be on hand. In case of rain, concerts will move indoors to the athletic center.

The first concert is June 24 and features the popular Irish band, Saw Doctors. Ramapo’s fireworks display is scheduled for July 8th. Below is the schedule of this year's performances:

One of America’s most influential radio personalities, Murray the "K" gave the group their first major break with their chart-topper, "Life is But A Dream" followed by "Remember Then." Other hits followed giving The Earls four songs on CBS-FM’s "500 greatest records of all time."

July 22
Broadway Tonight

An evening of song and dance from your favorite Broadway musicals. A talented cast features Sue Delano who recently toured with Joel Grey in "Cabaret," and Todd Gross who toured with Richard Chamberlin in "My Fair Lady." They will be presenting highlights from Broadway hit musicals of the 30’s through the 80’s in a fully orchestrated, choreographed and costumed revue.
