TD Bank Summer Concert Series Returns To Ramapo College with Sounds of Rock, Pop and Country

Rachel Allyn BandMAHWAH, N.J. – The many sounds of rock n’ roll and country will fill the air this summer with the 2015 TD Bank Summer Concert Series at Ramapo College featuring the sound of new wave country, the ’60s pop group The Happenings and Elton John and Fleetwood Mac tribute bands. The concerts, which begin on Thursday, July 9 and run for four consecutive Thursdays, take place under the stars at the Ramapo College Bandshell.

“The TD Bank Summer Concert Series is a wonderful opportunity for people to enjoy great music outdoors during the summer,” said Paul Scarduffa, retail market manager for TD Bank. “We are proud to sponsor the series again as part of TD’s ongoing commitment to the communities we serve.”

Thursday, July 9       Rachel Allyn Bandnew wave country

                                    Garden State Fireworks show-weather permitting

Thursday, July 16     The Happenings featuring Bob Miranda

                                    Fireworks rain date

Thursday, July 23     Bobby and the Jets – Elton John Tribute band

Thursday, July 30     Tusk – Fleetwood Mac Tribute band

The Happenings, '60s pop bandAll concerts begin at 8 p.m. Admission is free. Parking is $5 per car. Concertgoers may pack a picnic dinner, chairs and blankets. Callahan’s, renowned for their award-winning hot dogs, will be on the grounds for July 9, 16 and 30. Moe’s Southwest Grill will offer Southwestern food favorites for purchase on July 23. Ice cream and other frozen treats will also be available for purchase. Food will be available during outdoor performances only.
