Senior Thesis Exhibition “Composite” Opens at Ramapo College on May 4

MAHWAH, N.J. — The 2016 Senior Thesis exhibition “Composite” opens at Ramapo College with an opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4 in the Kresge and Pascal Galleries in the Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts. The work of 17 graduating Visual Arts majors will go on view. The exhibition continues with special hours (listed below) through May 12.

This exciting exhibition encompasses a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional contemporary art forms. The emerging artists represent the School of Contemporary Arts Visual Arts concentrations: Drawing and Painting, Electronic Art and Animation, Photography, and Sculpture. While an inaugural presentation for many, this is an unusually talented group of students, several of whom have already been exhibited professionally and have accepted in prestigious grant programs and artist residencies.

Exhibiting artists will be present at the opening reception on May 4. Food and refreshments will be provided. Admission and parking for the event is free and open to the public.

Gallery hours are:  May 5, 1-8 p.m., May 6, 12-8 p.m., May 9, 12-8 p.m., May 10, 12-8 p.m., May 11, 12-8 p.m., May 12, 12-7 p.m.  Note: There are no weekend viewing hours.
