Patrons Take a Front Row in Supporting Education

The Ramapo College Foundation Performing Arts Series, sponsored by CIT, premiered in February at the Berrie Center with a riveting musical treat by Eileen Ivers, noted for her trademark blue violin and rousing Irish music. The sold-out entertainment continued in April with a performance for all ages of the American Repertory Theater’s presentation of Cinderella. These special nights out were made all the more memorable by intimate dinner receptions prior to each performance and dessert with the artist after the show—an exclusive offer for patrons of the series.

Long after the performers take their final bow, the students of Ramapo will benefit through scholarships and programs funded by the series. Two of the hottest names— jazz great Chuck Mangione and folksinger Janis Ian—will appear in June and October, making this series an unforgettable, eclectic mix of Celtic, ballet, jazz, and folk tunes. For tickets and information, call Lucille O’Connor at (201) 684-7613.
