Maryann Brett and Gerry Brennan
are members of the first graduating class of Ramapo College of New
Jersey. When they married in 1975, Maryann and Gerry had their wedding
reception in the York Room of the Mansion, since Ramapo played such
a large part in their lives.
On December 30, 2000, the couple celebrated their 25th wedding
anniversary in the York Room surrounded by family and many friends
who also attended Ramapo in the 70s.
Ramapo has always held a special place in our hearts,
said Maryann, who holds a paralegal certification and runs a home
sewing business. Gerry is a senior staff attorney at the Legal Aid
Society of Morristown and is currently an adjunct at Ramapo, teaching
a course in constitutional law. Back in 1973, Gerry was class valedictorian
and editor-in-chief of The Paper. Both Maryann and Gerry were members
of the original orientation group at Ramapo, arriving before the
first students to organize a newspaper, literary magazine, and other
activities at the new college.

In 1975, Maryann Brett 73 and Gerry Brennan 73 were married in the York Room of the Mansion on Ramapos campus with maid of honor, Karen Carlson Camilo 75 and best man Ken Brennan, who also attended Ramapo, standing as witnesses. On their 25th wedding anniversary they held a reception in the York Room with Ramapo friends and former classmates: (standing l. to r.) Tom Langan, Angela Rozboski Langan, Theresa Horvath, Susie (Oogie) Gellert, Norbert (Norba) Herold, Dennis (Dend) Tartaglia, Karen Carlson Camilo, and Mike Jenkins. Seated are Gerry and Maryann. Daniel Quinn is the director of The
Center in Cedar Grove.

Claire Krulikowski has penned her
experiences along the Ganga River in India in her book, Moonlight
on the Ganga: An intimate memoir of a sacred journey along Indias
River of Life, published by DayBue Publishing Ink. Written in
journal style, Moonlight on the Ganga is a compilation of
true stories relating Krulikowskis experiences and reflections
when she traveled to India intent to get quiet. Krulikowski
spent twenty years freelance writing and working in the field of
business management. She now devotes herself completely to her passion
for writing and resides in Issaquah, Washington.

John Sarno is president of the Employers Association of New Jersey (EANJ). He is the author of a book helping employers stay out of court, The New Employment Contract. In the past, Sarno practiced law in Bergen County and had been an instructor at Ramapo College.

Brian E. Little has recently received his MBA from the New York Institute of Technology (Florida Center). He is currently a logistics manager with Office Depot and lives in Florida with Regina, his wife of twenty-one years, and their three children, Zachary, Caroline, and Veronica.

Sal Antonelli has been appointed as
the Urban Enterprise Coordinator in Hillside.

Michael J. Hayde has written a book
that will be published in June 2001 by Cumberland House Publishing
in Nashville. The title of Haydes book is My Names
Friday: The Unauthorized But True Story of Dragnet and the Films
of Jack Webb.

Mickey Ennis has been named vice
president of sales and marketing at Eastern Freight Ways. He will
be responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy
for the companys truckload service in the Northeast, taking
advantage of synergies with Easterns sister LTL carrier, NEMF
(New England Motor Freight). Ennis will work out of Easterns
offices in North Brunswick.

Suzanne Adrion, an adjunct for the
School of American and International Studies, has happily been teaching
history courses at Ramapo for almost ten years. This year, she was
nominated for Whos Who Among Americas Teachers.

Monique Mollet was recently appointed
director of Valley Hospice, a division of Valley Home Care in Paramus.
She has been with Valley Home Care for ten years, most recently
as manager of social services, a position she held for six years.
In her new role, she oversees the daily operations of the hospice
program, while having administrative responsibility for Valley Home
Cares Oncology program.

Diana Yacobi is
in her fifth year as a principal at the Congregational School of
Fort Lee.

Steven Margulies is the administrator
of Shomrei Torah, Wayne Conservative Congregation in Wayne.

Carla E. Krueger has been employed with Sony Electronics for over ten years and is currently a patent paralegal in the intellectual property department. Her husband is employed at the Insurance Services Office, Inc. as a systems support specialist in the integrated network support division.
Jan Barry Crumb is a staff writer
for The Record in Hackensack. He has also written for the Daily
Record of Morristown, The New York Times, and other newspapers.
He is an editor of three literary anthologies, including Winning
Hearts & Minds: War Poems by Vietnam Veterans. His poems
have been published in numerous anthologies. His newest book, A
Citizens Guide to Grassroots Campaigns, was published
by Rutgers University Press in 2000. Crumb has been a guest lecturer
at numerous colleges and universities, has appeared on national
and New York metropolitan radio and television programs, and was
profiled in Choosing Sides: I Remember Vietnam, which
aired on the History Channel. He and his wife, Paula, and family
live in Montclair.

Alyssa Pozner is the director of
operations for Opinion Access Corp, a national market research firm.
Jacqueline Schecter has been promoted
to marketing manager for DialAmerica Marketing, Inc. in Mahwah.

Betsy Panico is an English teacher at Old Tappan High School. She has been chosen to have her essay entitled, Female Oppression, Female Oppressors: Alice Walkers Possessing the Secret Joy, published in the Journal of Graduate of Liberal Studies, an academic journal published by a consortium of colleges. The essay was written as part of the graduate course Panico took on Problems of Contemporary Society for Ramapo Colleges Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program.

Laura Greenfield is currently working
in advertising and serves as a traffic coordinator for the Sawtooth
Group in Woodbridge.
Kathleen McGarvey is a computer
education teacher in the Cranbury School System, Cranbury.

Steven Engravalle, an English teacher at Roy W. Brown Middle School in Bergenfield, is taking a lead role in advancing the districts Web technology. He created the schools Web page (www.Bergenfield.org); taught an in-service course for teachers on Web page creation; and formed the Internet Club for students interested in Web design.
Vivian E. Nilsson is working with Global Alliance for Womens
Health, NYC, a non-governmental organization in official association
with the United Nations. After graduating summa cum laude from Ramapo
with a double major in political science and international studies,
Nilsson worked during the summer for UNESCO, writing and translating
newsletters. She also worked for Representative Marge Roukemas
re-election campaign and Ramapo Colleges Study Abroad program.
Brian Plaskon is a producer/writer
for Shadow Traffic. He is also working towards receiving his pilots
license.
Dena M. OBrien is currently
attending Rutgers University Graduate School of Social Work, where
she was accepted into the advanced standing program. She is interning
at the Woodbridge Developmental Center, working with and advocating
for individuals with developmental disabilities. OBrien is
expected to graduate from Rutgers this May with her M.S.W.
