Student Callers Reach Out to Alumni
 |
|
The Alumni Association Phonathon raises money to support efforts for student scholarships, faculty grants, and College projects. Ten dedicated student callers manned the phones each night, receiving pledges that will make a difference in the education of Ramapo students.

You may have answered your phone recently and heard a caller say:
Hi, this is a student at Ramapo College of New Jersey and Id
like to ask for your support. This year the very students who
benefit from the generous donations by alumni to the annual fund manned
the phone banks. These pledges provide unrestricted money for challenging
programs, needed scholarships, faculty grants, workshops, events,
research, and countless other critical projects that ensure that Ramapo
students receive the most innovative, high-tech, comprehensive education
available.
For six weeks during the spring semester, ten students per night
worked at the phonathon, talking with alumni, relating their experiences,
and sharing a common interesteducation at Ramapo.
To everyone who made a pledgewe cannot thank you enough for
giving back to your alma mater. We know our student callers thanked
you at the end of the conversation, but please accept a BIG thank
you on behalf of the entire student body!
There is still time to make a donation and be included in our Honor
Roll of Donors in the 2000-2001 Annual Report. Call the Ramapo College
Alumni office at
