DCD Honors Community Leaders

Each year four outstanding members of the community are recognized at the Ramapo College Foundation’s Distinguished Citizens Dinner. A highlight of the year, the dinner’s proceeds provide funds for student scholarships, faculty development opportunities and grants for campus projects. Honored this year were Michael W. Azzara (Valley Health System, Inc.), Elizabeth G. Christopherson (New Jersey Network), John Durkin `75 (Garban LLC Government Bond Brokerage), and Douglas L. Kennedy (Summit Bancorp). This year’s event was held at the Rockleigh County Club with entertainment by ’50s rock ’n roll group The Platters.
