Program Overview
Leadership across Boundaries
Game-changing business challenges are rarely answered by a single discipline (like finance or marketing); they require a broad vision and a leader for cross-discipline collaboration. Every element of the Ramapo MBA has been designed to help you become an ethical and effective leader, able to integrate multiple perspectives into actions that make a better future for all your stakeholders.
Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders
Three of your 14 classes are focused on building the leadership skills you need to be successful. In team projects and case studies, you have additional opportunities to learn, practice, and reflect on the complex set of skills and strengths you will need to exercise to lead well.
Peers & Colleagues
At Ramapo, you will learn as part of a small cohort (30 students maximum)—students who move through the program together, work together on projects, support one another, and build a network of peers and colleagues that lasts.
Case Studies in Action
The Ramapo MBA curriculum is designed with today’s real world challenges in mind.. We present a real-world case, a business question or dilemma, and you work on solutions as an individual, a team, and sometimes a whole cohort. We explore and debate the possible outcomes of each solution, and we review what we know about the solutions that were attempted in the real case. Throughout the program, you will tackle cases from multiple perspectives—finance this term, human resources the next—so you gain the depth and breadth you need to stretch boundaries and lead the way.
Real-World Application
Working with our corporate partners, your cohort will explore case studies out of the classroom, perhaps even serving as consultants to solve a current business challenge.
August Fundamentals
Before classes even begin, you’ll complete three modules online, to ensure everyone in your cohort has a solid base in business fundamentals:
- Accounting
- Quantitative Methods and Statistics
- Finance
