Who Should Take This Program:

Teachers, business people, professionals, and anyone with a desire to learn more about the ideas that formed our global community will find that MALS gives them a broad interdisciplinary outlook and enriches their knowledge of many cultures and their interrelationships. A liberal arts background has always been valuable in any career because it increases understanding of the world, enhances communication, analytical and verbal skills, and sharpens writing ability. An ongoing consciousness of what is at stake in the human enterprise and how this has been expressed through the millennia, together with records of how we have succeeded or failed - all this gives each of us depth, balance and values.
