For the seventh consecutive year, Ramapo College of New Jersey is ranked as one of the "100 Best Values in Public College.” Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine counts Ramapo among the "100 Best Values" for 2012; Ramapo is one of three New Jersey public institutions of higher education in this list. Ramapo College was ranked sixth by U.S. News & World Report in the Best Regional Universities North category.
It is no surprise that Ramapo’s stature continues to climb as Annual Fund support from alumni, parents, students, faculty/staff, friends, and board members grows, helping to provide student scholarships, fund faculty development, enhance curricular programs, support undergraduate research opportunities and subsidize faculty lines.. Annual Fund gifts directly address the College’s most pressing needs; they bolster financial assistance when needed to ensure that deserving students receive educational opportunities.

Senior Legacy Drive
A longstanding Ramapo tradition, the Senior Legacy Drive is an important part of the Annual Fund that unites the senior class. The drive encourages graduates to give back to the College that has given so much to them. Families are able to donate to Ramapo College in their graduate's name to honor the student's hard work and achievements at Ramapo College. The drive is coordinated by the Senior Legacy Drive Committee.
Stephen & Mary Birch Fellowship
The Stephen and Mary Birch Fellowship of Ramapo College of New Jersey is a new gift recognition program launched by the Ramapo College Foundation. The Birch Fellowship recognizes leadership-level gifts and helps the College continue to build a solid foundation of support that inspires our students to excel and our donors to give generously.
Membership is open to all graduates, parents, friends, faculty and staff members who make unrestricted annual contributions to the College of $500 or more. There are four giving circles in the society and an Associate Program, which recognizes significant charitable contributions made by recent graduates who have made an annual gift of $150 or more, depending on the year of graduation. Associate membership is at the Scholars’ Circle level and is based on annual giving and the number of years since graduation from a Ramapo College undergraduate program. Eligible are:
- Alumni within 0-4 years of graduation who contribute $150or above
- Alumni within 5-7 years of graduation who contribute $250 or above
- Alumni within 8-9 years of graduation who contribute $350 or above
Parent Support
The President's Parents Council encourages families to contribute to the Annual Fund to help enhance Ramapo's high-quality student learning opportunities with increased funds for student scholarships, curricular programs, and undergraduate research opportunities.
Faculty and Staff Support
Our talented students and exceptional faculty together pursue excellence in higher education. Ramapo's extraordinary teaching faculty, administrators and staff shape the Ramapo experience for each student. These valued employees are encouraged to make a charitable financial commitment to the College to further enhance the quality of services and assistance and make a distinct difference. Gifts to the Annual Fund provide vital support for the college's most pressing needs. Loyal support from faculty, staff, alumni, parents and friends makes a critical difference and fosters our success.
