Ramapo continues its proud tradition of providing the tools which foster excellence in education. It is no surprise that Ramapo’s stature continues to climb, evidenced by the College being cited in the February 2007 issue of Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine among the “100 Best Values in Public Colleges.”
Each year, Ramapo College alumni, parents, students, faculty/staff, friends, and board members are a driving force in supporting the Annual Fund, helping to provide student scholarships, fund faculty development, enhance curricular programs, and support undergraduate research opportunities. Ramapo depends on these gifts to support the mission of the College.

Senior Legacy Drive
A longstanding Ramapo tradition, the Senior Legacy Drive is an imporatant part of the Annual Fund that unites the senior class while encouraging graduates to give something back to the College that has given so much to them. Families may donate in their graduate's name to honor the graduating student's hard work and achievements at Ramapo College. The drive is coordinated by the Senior Legacy Drive Committee.
Stephen and Mary Birch Fellowship
The Ramapo College Foundation recently launched a new gift recognition program called the Stephen and Mary Birch Fellowship of Ramapo College of New Jersey. The Birch Fellowship recognizes leadership-level gifts and helps the College continue to build a solid foundation of support that inspires our students to excel and our donors to give generously.
Membership is open to all graduates, parents, friends, faculty and staff members who make unrestricted annual contributions to the College of $500 or more. There are four giving circles in the society and an Associate Program, which recognizes significant charitable contributions made by recent graduates who have made an annual gift of $100 or more, depending on the year of graduation. Associate membership is at the Scholars’ Circle level and is based on annual giving and the number of years since graduation from a Ramapo College undergraduate program. Eligible are:
- Alumni within 0-4 years of graduation who contribute $100 or above
- Alumni within 5-7 years of graduation who contribute $250 or above
- Alumni within 8-9 years of graduation who contribute $350 or above
Parent Support
The President's Parents Council encourages families to contribute to the Annual Fund to help enhance Ramapo's high-quality student learning opportunities with increased funds for student scholarships, curricular programs, and undergraduate research opportunities.
Faculty and Staff Support
Ramapo's exceptional teaching faculty, administrators and staff shape the Ramapo experience for each student. These valued employees are encouraged to make a charitable financial commitment to the College to further enhance the quality of services and assistance and make a distinct difference. Gifts to the Annual Fund provide vital support for the college's most pressing needs.
