The Professional Staff Association of Ramapo College of New Jersey represents College professional staff and managers, aligned or unaligned. The Association holds monthly meetings and periodic professional development workshops.
Accomplishments
- Professional Development: “Myers-Briggs Personality Assessment”; ”Conflict Resolution”; “Customer Service Essentials: Steps to Increase Retention on Campus”; "Mixing Four Generations in the Workplace”; Excel training for beginners and advanced.
- Regular meeting agenda - Guest speakers: Beth Barnett; John Woods, Ombudsperson; Enrollment Management update: Ricardo Ortegon, Peter Rice; Behavioral threat assessment: Judith Green; Strategic Planning and the Budget Process: Babs Varanno; Judith Jeney: Developing Performance Appraisal Standards. (A Work Session);
- Congratulations to the offices and persons honored with special service awards. We are proud of the fine work you’ve done. Office of Specialized Services, Melissa Vanderwall, Robin Keller, Chuck Jurgenson.
