H1N1 Information

College Status
The College's regular operating schedule is in effect.
The College will be operating on the regular Mon. - Fri., 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule.
The College will be closed on Nov. 25, Nov. 26 - 28, no classes, offices closed.
November 20, 2009
There have been no new cases reported this week. All employees and students have returned to work or classes.
November 13, 2009
There has been 4 newly reported confirmed case of Influenza type A, two employees and two students. Of the earlier reported cases, the 6 students have returned to their regular schedules.

There has been 1 newly reported confirmed case of Influenza type A. Of the earlier reported cases, the 6 students have returned to their regular schedules.

There has been 1 newly reported confirmed case of Influenza type A. Of the earlier reported cases, the 5 students have returned to their regular schedules.
To prevent the spread of H1N1, please be diligent in hand washing and covering your mouth when you sneeze. (Sneeze into your elbow).  To prevent the spread of germs hand sanitizers have been placed in all computer labs and in high traffic areas where there are no restrooms in close proximity. Ramapo College of New Jersey officials are carefully monitoring the outbreak of H1N1 flu (swine flu) that has been reported in several U.S. states, Mexico, and other countries. There are currently no cases of the swine flu on Ramapo College of New Jersey’s Campus. The College’s Emergency Response Team is meeting to review and, if necessary, implement its pandemic emergency plan. RCNJ conducts emergency planning regularly and is prepared to respond to this, or any emergency. Please know that we are monitoring the situation and are working with members of the RCNJ Administration, who will work with local and national authorities to make sure a coordinated response is implemented, should the need arise.
