For Advance Practice Nurses
This one day program is for Advanced Practice Nurses who have prescriptive privileges. The program meets the six contact hour mandate for APNs to be licensed to prescribe and manage diabetes mellitus. Specific course content includes pharmacologic properties of medications used to manage patients with diabetes, their indications and appropriate utilization. The New Jersey Board of Nursing licensure requirements related to prescribing these medications is discussed.

Registration deadline is requested two weeks prior to the start of each program. A $25 late fee applies thereafter, up to the day of the program, if space permits. There is a $25 returned check fee.

Individuals wishing to pay by credit card may do so online but must wait until the College notifies you by e-mail that your registration has been processed. You will receive an "R" number in the mail from the Center for Innovative and Professional Learning. The "R" number is your identification number in the college database that identifies you and your personal information as a student at the College. You will need to reference this number to make a credit card payment online. To pay by credit card, log onto https://epay.ramapo.edu/C20169_tsa/web/login.jsp. Enter your College ID ("R" number) and PIN (initially, your date of birth); then click on the Login Now button. If you choose the credit card method of payment, please note that the credit card vendor will add a non-refundable convenience fee of 2.75% (minimum $3.00) to your payment.

Refunds

Refunds for withdrawals are issued only when notification is submitted in writing to the Center for Innovative and Professional Learning two weeks prior to the first day of a program. A $50 processing fee applies.

Cancellations

Ramapo College reserves the right to cancel any program or course due to limited enrollment, lack of facilities or unanticipated unavailability of faculty. Full tuition will be fully refunded when a course or program is cancelled.

Certificates

Each program fee includes a contact hour certificate. Replacements are $5 each.

Faculty/Instructors

Ramapo College reserves the right to substitute faculty/instructors if necessary.
