American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course
for 2 Year Certification
For healthcare providers, parents, teachers, volunteer coaches, lifeguards.
Course includes multiple learning activities: Videos, hands-on practice, skill testing and both written and skills examinations.
Course completion card issued within 30 days.
Learn:
- Prevention
- Early warning signs of heart attack and stroke
- Relief of foreign body obstructions in adults, infants and children
- All CPR skills
How to use:
- Barrier devices
- Automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Bag-mask device
Fees:
- CPR Course for Ramapo Students, Employees and Alumni - $100.00
- CPR Course for non-Ramapo registrants - $125.00
The College reserves the right to change costs, dates and procedures at its discretion.
All course materials are provided.
Use of American Heart Association materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for the AHA course materials, do not represent income to the Association.
Registration/Payment and Additional Information

Refunds
Refunds for withdrawals are issued only when notification is submitted in writing to the Center for Innovative and Professional Learning 3 days prior to the first day of a program. A $25 processing fee applies.
Cancellations
Ramapo College reserves the right to cancel any program or course due to limited enrollment, lack of facilities or unanticipated unavailability of faculty. Full tuition will be fully refunded when a course or program is cancelled.
Documentation
Course completion card is issued within 30 days.
Faculty/Instructors
Ramapo College reserves the right to substitute faculty/instructors if necessary.
