CIPL Mission Statement
Continuing education at the Ramapo College of New Jersey Center for Innovative and Professional Learning (CIPL) supports postgraduate professional education, workforce development, and alternative learning. The Center also engages in internal and external educational partnerships to advance the Col`lege, and provides innovative continuous learning opportunities for community members of all ages.

Certificate Programs
Advance your marketability with new certificate credentials. In today’s challenging economy, certificate programs are popular choices for working adults seeking to pursue a promotion or an entirely new career, and for job seekers searching for fast track ways to gain a new credential that may expand their employability in the current job market. Certificate Offerings: Project Management, Web Development (online), Business Essentials, Paralegal (online), Middle School Certification, Yoga Studies, Yoga Teacher Certification and the Certificate in Sustainability Leadership. Also hosted at Ramapo College: Personal Training Certificate by PTIA (Personal Training Institute of America).
Leadership Symposium, Teacher Credit Hours & Other Conferences
Each June, Ramapo College’s Center for Innovative & Professional Learning, in collaboration with the Anisfield School of Business, organizes a Leadership Symposium for area aspiring, new and seasoned leaders to learn and discuss best practices. In partnership with LEGAL ONE and the NJPSA, Ramapo offers professional development credit hours for teachers on a periodic basis. Additional conferences for those seeking to enhance their knowledge and to network with area colleagues in their fields of work are offered on an intermittent basis.
Youth / Pre-College
Youth and pre-college programs for middle school and high school students take place in the summer on the beautiful Ramapo College campus. Ramapo Explorers-STEM Middle School Academic Camp focuses on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) hands-on learning activities emphasizing critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork while having fun. High school students in the Financial Literacy/Stock Market Trading Program learn to manage personal finances and become savvy money managers as they trade stocks using the real-time ticker display in the Anisfield School of Business Global Financial Markets Trading Laboratory. In partnership with The Princeton Review, the college offers a summer intensive SAT Prep Plus College Immersion program.
CPR & Other Community Workshops
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support course for a 2-year certification is offered each May and at other times during the year (check Web site). In addition, retirement planning seminars for persons 50+ are available to members of the community several times per year. Workshops of general interest to lifelong learners are offered throughout the year.
Test Preparation
NCLEX-RN (nursing exam) preparation is offered every May and a summer SAT Prep Plus College Immersion program is available in July each year. Convenient online test preparations for the GRE, GMAT and LSAT are available 6 times each year.
