Payment and Billing Information: Authorized Users
Allow Others to Access your Account
Students can permit others to receive email notifications regarding your electronic bill (e-bill), electronic payments, and Monthly Payment Plan (if applicable).
Adding an Authorized User is a student’s written consent that your parents (or any other individuals you authorize) may view your account information and make payments on your behalf. Please note that Authorized Users do not have access to your stored payment methods, academic records, personal emails, or other personal information.
Making your parents (or any other individuals you authorize) an Authorized User does not give the Bursar’s Office permission to discuss your student financial records with your designee. In order to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), you must complete and submit a Bursar’s Office FERPA Waiver Form.

Authorized Users setup instructions for students using My Ramapo web site
- Log on to my.ramapo.edu
- Click on Web Self-Service button in the middle of the left column
- Enter your Ramapo Email User Name and Ramapo Email Password then click on the Login button.
- Click on Student Services & Financial Aid link.
- Click on Electronic Payments/Bills/Refunds, Payment Plan, Authorized User Signup link.
- Click on Account Info/Pay Bill button.
- Click on Authorized Users tab at the top of the page.
- Click Add an Authorized Users button.
- Enter the email address of the desired authorized user, answer questions, and click the Add User button.
- Click I Agree box.
- Enter the last 4 digits of the Ramapo ID number in the provided field, and click I Agree button.
The College reserves the right to change costs, dates and procedures at its discretion.
