Gallery area mapDirections are for all the campus art galleries and begin at the Berrie Center Box Office. When entering the Berrie Center from the main parking lot, the Box Office is on the left. The art galleries are on the next level (middle level). You can take the stars or the elevator.

The Ramapo College Art Galleries are located 25 miles northwest of New York City on the campus of Ramapo College of New Jersey.

The Art Galleries are aligned with the School of Contemporary Arts and serve as a fertile resource for the college and area communities. A wide spectrum of expressions is presented each year, ranging from faculty artwork to special international collections. The visual arts faculty takes full advantage of the exhibitions and related educational programming to illustrate the creative process to students.

The Kresge Foundation Gallery and the André Z. Pascal Gallery are in the Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts, a postmodern facility designed by the firm of Hardy, Holtzman, and Pfeiffer. Since opening the building in 1999 the galleries have presented an intriguing contemporary exhibition schedule. Renowned artists shown in the galleries include Sally Mann, Henry Darger, Cindy Sherman, Alighiero Boetti, Duane Michaels, Tony Oursler, Miguel Calderon, Aziz & Cucher, Cathy de Monchaux, Willie Birch, Ant Farm, Ernesto Pujol, Radcliffe Bailey, Marco Brambilla, Mona Hatoum, Howard Finster, Luis Cruz Azaceta, Sophie Calle, Kara Walker, Chris Verene, and Catherine Opie.

In addition to the high profile contemporary art programming, Ramapo College is also the home of the Selden Rodman Gallery of Popular Arts in College’s Academic B Wing. The Gallery is devoted to the legacy of the late local resident Selden Rodman and features his preeminent collection of art from the Americas and the Caribbean.

The Ramapo College Art Galleries also present small shows in the Potter Library Galleries showcasing regional artists and student work.
