The Legendary Arlo Guthrie
Sunday, March 7
7 p.m., Sharp Theater
Folk singer, musician, composer and son of folk icon Woody Gurthrie, Arlo Guthrie came to fame in 1967, when "Alice's Restaurant," his satirical, dead-pan protest against the Vietnam War draft debuted in movie theaters across America. Arlo’s appearance at the seminal Woodstock music festival two years later cemented his place in cultural history. This is a rare chance to see Arlo in an intimate theater.

Tickets:$75/65; No discounts for this performance
Leon Redbone

For the last three decades and counting, nobody could mistake Leon Redbone for any other performer, singer, guitarist, or character. Though his iconic guise of his Panama hat, jacket and sunglasses has been thoroughly satirized, the bard has continued his love affair with tunes from the turn-of-the-century (as in the second-to-last century), flapper-era radio ditties, Depression-spawned ragtime and World War II folk-jazz.

Tickets: $30/27/24; Children under 17 $15; Seniors, Ramapo Affiliates, WBGO Radio and N.J. Jazz Society members receive 5% off regular ticket prices
