Minor Fall, Major Lift

He stars as Frankie Valli, the golden voice of the Four Seasons, in the hit Broadway musical “Jersey Boys” and now Jarrod Spector brings his own concert entitled “Minor Fall, Major Lift” to the Berrie Center. The evening includes songs ranging from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s to the present day.

Tickets: $30/27/24; Children under 17: $20; 5% off regular ticket prices for Seniors, WBGO Radio, New Jersey Jazz Society members and Ramapo Affiliates.

New Jersey’s own stellar orchestra, the Hawthorne Symphony is made up of 40 music professionals from the metropolitan area and features top guest soloists from such institutions as the Metropolitan Opera, City Opera, New York Philharmonic and other metro venues and organizations.

Join Jeffrey Baker, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Warner Brothers Home Video Theatrical Catalog, for a talk about the movie business, and a screening of a documentary examining the life and work of the legendary artist Clint Eastwood.  A masterful storyteller, Eastwood has earned a place in film history among such classically American directors as John Ford, Howard Hawks, King Vidor, and John Huston.

Since 1935, the Count Basie Orchestra has been The Swingingest Band In All The Land, winning more awards than any other big band in jazz - 17 Grammys and 20 Downbeat and Jazz Times polls. It’s still going strong today as one of the nation’s elite performing organizations in jazz, under the direction of Dennis Mackrel.
