Matching Gifts

What is a matching gift?
A matching gift is one that a company donates to match the charitable gift of an employee to their alma mater, a parent of a Ramapo student, or others interested in supporting Ramapo College. If you or your spouse work for a matching gift company, your gift could double or even triple in amount, depending on your company’s matching gift policy.

How can you match your gift to Ramapo College?
The matching gift procedure is simple. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer’s human resources or benefits office and send it completed and signed, with your gift to the Ramapo College Foundation Office in the Birch Mansion (see below). Ramapo College will do the rest! You may send the matching gift form at any time throughout the year, even if you’ve already made your gift to Ramapo College.

To see if your employer has a matching gift program, see the Matching Gifts Clearing House below, which is sponsored by the Council of Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). CASE maintains this comprehensive database of more than 7,500 companies that support matching gift programs.
