Dr. Lewis M. Chakrin, a Mendham resident and recently a corporate executive
at AT&T, was appointed dean of the Anisfield School of Business July 1,
2006. His appointment is another step in the process of enhancing the
school’s academic offerings and building on its solid foundation to
achieve even wider recognition.
Dean
Chakrin brings vast academic and corporate experience to the position.
He began his career as a researcher with Bell Laboratories, where he
developed quantitative analysis techniques used to solve business
problems. After 12 years at Bell Labs, he embarked on a diverse business
career.
