Friends of Ramapo is an organization founded to expand communications and foster greater understanding between the campus of Ramapo College and neighboring communities. 
Friends of Ramapo awards scholarships to students with outstanding academic achievements and sponsors cultural events for the community. Since its inception in 1977, Friends of Ramapo has awarded more than 100 scholarships and supported many events such as the Summer Concert Series and their newest community attraction, the Friends of Ramapo Community Art Auction.
Members of Friends of Ramapo can take advantage of Ramapo College's cultural programs, facilities such as the library, and have the opportunity to audit classes depending on the level of membership. Since 2005, members of Friends of Ramapo will have the privilege of an additional membership at the Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center
for an extra fee and enjoy fitness, fast-paced sports and more.

Friends of Ramapo has two categories of membership:
General Membership $60
- Receipt of Ramapo Magazine
- Advance notice of special Friends of Ramapo events and activities
- Discounts at the Berrie Center*
- Use of the College library
- Parking decal
Friends Plus Membership $150
Benefits:
All the "General Membership" benefits listed above, plus...
- Alumni/Friends Plus Education Program. Friends of Ramapo Plus members are eligible to sit-in on one class during the spring and fall semesters. This would be a great opportunity to learn a new language of try any course from out wide variety of course offerings which can be viewed in the online catalog.

The Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center
This state-of-the-art recreation center, featuring a 2,200-seat arena, fitness center, 25-meter pool, climbing wall, jogging track, and locker room facilities opened its doors in 2005. Friends of Ramapo have the privilege of becoming a member for $300 for individual membership or $600 for family memberships in addition to their Friends of Ramapo category fee.
Memberships are active for one year from the receipt of the application.
Bradley Center Hours of Operation
NOTE: Proper ID is required in all areas of the Athletic Center.
NOTE: The Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center will be closed on all legal holidays when the entire campus is closed. We reserve the right to close the center for weather related and other emergencies. (You may call the College Closings/Special Announcements hotline for this information at 201-236-2902.) All schedule times at the Bradley Center are subject to change at the discretion of the Director of Athletics.
