Class Notes April 2007 (1973 - 1984) (SUBMIT YOUR CLASS NOTES)

 

Jean Coe, Ph.D. ’75 was named Coordinator of West Bergen Mental Healthcare’s Substance Abuse Treatment Program.  In her new position, Jean is expanding substance abuse services by offering more group therapy targeted towards the specific needs of the individuals.

Nancy Johnson ’77 currently lives in Hillsborough, North Carolina with her significant other, Don Campbell.  She works for the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners as the Group Benefits Underwriter in Raleigh, NC.  Her family still resides in Sickerville, NJ, and she returns often to visit them.

Mariann Izzo Cheney, BFA ’81 of Monticello, NY formerly Sloatsburg, was recently promoted to Director of Human Resources for the New England division of C & S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. Keene, New Hampshire.  Mariann’s great grandparents Abigail and Ingram Estabrook cam to America from Sackville, Canada in the mid 1800’s, worked for HO Havemayer and later ran the farm for Stephen Birch on the estate which was to become Ramapo College.

Class Notes April (1985 - 1996) (SUBMIT YOUR CLASS NOTES)

Peter Goetz ’89 has recently been hired by Ross University as vice president for marketing and enrollment.  Peter’s responsibilities include enrollment management, marketing, applicant services, and alumni.

Cliff Bernstein ’90 has recently been appointed to the faculty of the School of Medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook as Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology.  Dr. Bernstein is a specialist in breast imaging, with particular interest in breast MRI and breast biopsy.

 

Ian Anderson ’92 was recently named chief operating officer for Smart + Strong, a Manhattan-based publisher of health-related magazines and web sites.

Erik Endress ’95 is running for the L-12 Board of Education of Ramsey.  The election will be held on April 17.  Erik has been a member of the Board of Education for the past three years.

Class Notes April 2007 (1997 - 2006) (SUBMIT YOUR CLASS NOTES)

 

Annie Davaris ’98 married Greg Hazley on July 28, 2006 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church in Saddle River.  The couple honeymooned in Paris.  Annie is an eighth-grade teacher in Paterson.  Greg also attended Ramapo College; he is currently the senior editor for O’Dwyer Publications.

Eric Fernandes ’01 and Heather Elizabeth Parks were united in marriage on October 14, 2006.  Eric is pursuing graduate studies in computer science at Fairleigh Dickinson University; he is currently employed as a software engineer by Siemens AG.  Heather works for Woman to Woman Ob/Gyn Associates.  The newlyweds are planning a tour of Europe for their honeymoon.

Steven Kraemer ’01 married Carolina Marchiori on December 16, 2006 in New Providence.  The couple will honeymoon in Brazil, where an additional wedding ceremony will be given by the bride’s parents.  Steven is employed by Target in business management, while Carolina is pursuing a degree in early childhood education and art.

Nicholas Giovanniello '02 recently announced his engagement to Jennifer Van Kleef. Nicholas is the branch manager for Enterprise Rent-a-Car in Edison. The wedding is planned for October 13, 2007 at St. Augustine of Canterbury R.C. Church.

Jeffrey Colford ’03 married Sandra Isik on May 20, 2006 in Ridgewood.  The couple honeymooned to Belize, and they now reside in Wood Ridge.  Jeffrey is currently a senior auditor or Ernst & Young.

Liza Marie Porcelli ’03 and Alex Fonti were married on November 4, 2006 at the Church of Saint Elizabeth in Wyckoff.  Liza is employed as a special education teacher in Hawthorne.  Alex is currently an Equity Sales Trader with Jefferies and Company in Manhattan.  The couple honeymooned in Aruba and now resides in Wyckoff.

Brian Wilson ’03 is a Development Associate for the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art.  Brian’s current tasks include working on grants, a membership drive, and other fundraising for the company.

Kristen Purpura ’05 joyfully announces her engagement to Glen Ferttitta.  The wedding is planned for October 2007.

Diane L. Darcy ’05 and Walter J. Schmidt happily announce their engagement.  Diane has run Platinum Events, her own Wedding and Event Planning Firm since 2005.  Walter currently works for UPS as a Quality Assurance Technician in Paramus.  They recently purchased their first home in Freehold Borough, NJ and look forward to their October 6, 2007 wedding.

Ronald F. Waldt ’06 was sworn in as a police officer of the Englewood Cliffs Police Department on January 18, 2007.  He is currently in a six-month training program at the Bergen County Police Academy.
