Class Notes:

Paul Fitzpatrick ’84 was promoted to chief investigator in Law Guardian in the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender. Fitzpatrick has been with the office 1989. He worked in the Bergen Region until his promotion in 2002 to assistant chief investigator in Law Guardian Northwest Region.

Rachel (McCann) Pinton ‘01 and DJ Pinton ‘99 welcomed a daughter, Gianna Madelyn, August 25 at 11:31 a.m. She weighed 7 lbs., 3 oz. and measured 19 3/4 inches.

Michelle Guzman ‘00 and her husband, Eric Auffant, are expecting a baby, due July 2012. The couple resides in Phoenix, AZ. Guzman is a marketing coordinator for a boutique firm.

David Winans ‘04 and Allison LaFex announced their engagement. Winans is employed at Volt Technical Resources in Raleigh, NC.  A late 2012 wedding is planned in NJ.

Brittany Kovach ‘08 was named account executive at Stascom Technologies in Sparta, NJ.

Eilon Natan ’09 is vice president at MD Global Partners, a boutique investment bank in New York City. Natan joined the firm as an associate within the Investment Banking group after completing an internship there. He was instrumental in growing the company over the past two years and was promoted to vice president.  Natan is active with the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity and as an advisor to Ramapo College. He is also an avid soccer player.

Patrick Flynn ‘10 and Meghann John ‘11 announced their engagement. Flynn teaches 7th grade Science at Hackensack Middle School and John teaches 8th grade Science in Dumont, both in NJ.

Erica (Schweikert) ‘03 and Bill Venezia ‘03 announced the birth of their daughter, Hope Margaret, born June 21, 2011 at 9:35 p.m.  She weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz. and measured 20 1/4 inches.

Alysia Battista ‘05, a former Women's Soccer team captain, earned a master’s degree in Special Education from Montclair State University in May 2010.  She has coached girls’ high school soccer. Battista was accepted as a Teacher Scholar in the PISA2 science program at Stevens Institute of Technology, consequently earning three teaching grants. Battista has passed the PRAXIS tests in Elementary Content Knowledge K-5, Middle School Science, Social Studies and Language Arts. She is in her seventh year of teaching as a third grade teacher and looks forward to obtaining certificates as a supervisor and principal.
